Do people really try and weed all of this or are they normally screen printed? I am looking at 95 names. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be a great help. Thank you in advance.
Hi, I have done these two years running now. Initially yes I weeded every single one (Yolo 123 vinyl) - not profitable by any stretch of the imagination! However, this year I have been doing them very successfully as transfers with a white printer (Sun Angel system) and only used vinyl for the nicknames above each "15"

Ali how come you deleted that post.
I too use the sunangel system but its quite costly on transfers but I suppose you can probably get two out of each sheet.

Who knows! I played with some ad block settings to stop the pages jumping about and it is now doing all sorts of weird things! Yes my system has finally paid for itself (thanks to your previous help). What I was saying was that I had previously weeded vinyl but it was far from profitable and now do them as transfers with the white printer and only use the vinyl for the nicknames above the "15"

At 95 I would say screen print. Set up would be about £20.00 and then about 50p-£1.00 per print. Find a screen printer near you and get a quote. If that is not an option I would go for TMT Wow and contract out to someone like LOGOBEAR. But expect to pay an absolute minimum of £3.00-£4.00 per transfer (possibly more).

The last option would be to fill the 15 in with a Pantone reference that matches the garment colour. That way you could print the names etc using something like a versacam.

I would not suggest weeding each name, at 95 garments it would take far too long.
