Can anyone identify this printer and confirm what process they're using?

I'm still deciding on a solution for printed colour graphics onto clothes and have so far only been recommended printer / cutters so was surprised to see Dickies using this as I'd expect them to produce high quality products.

Talking about printer / cutters, space is an issue so thinking about the BN 20 - I saw someone here bought one recently, any good? Not having much luck finding 2nd hand one anywhere..

No idea on the model of the machine but I think its an OKI. The dials on the top certainly look the same as other OKI machines I have.

I am sure it has come out wrong, but, if you do not know the machine how do you know that Dickies are not producing high quality products?

BN-20 is a great machine hence why you will not find many up for sale secondhand. The only issue they have against their larger brothers is the speed and width.

It must have come out wrong...what I meant was Dickies produce high quality products so I was surprised to see a sheet fed printer that produces garment transfers of a good enough quality for Dickies. I keep being advised against such a product. Size wise (and maybe cost I would guess), a sheet fed printer would be much better for me. I would love to see the real results of what such a printer can do.

I suspect it is all down to cost with them. A print and cut machine such as a Versacam is considerably more investment than a laser printer and cutter. I would imagine they do not get much call for printing items as its workwear so invest in embroidery but have the printing add on as a service.

Roll fed printers such as Versacam's can do more, but it really depends on exactly what you want to do. For example have you considered a OKI White printer?

OKI C822n A3 Colour LED Laser Printer

I'd hate to have to order from them, you have to complete loads of steps just to get a sample. I'd rather just send my file and ok the preview. 2 emails job done.

Just looks like Xpres laser transfer paper (or similar) to me.

Xpres are showing a second hand BN-20 on their used hardware list.

They said, is better to buy new machine as is cheaper then the second hand one (!!!)
