bought a mini 3d sub machine (newest model)
i only paid £200 for it, ive tried about 20 mugs in there and there is no consistency with this product i keep getting what looks like blow by (ink coming out from the paper)
i use the green rubber sleaves that wrap around the cup

the unit states 190c for 300 seconds? i had to up it to 600 seconds for it to print a decent picture any thing less was useless, but to be fair ive now given up on the mugs ive just bought 2 mug presses

now i want to use this unit to do phone casses

first case i done was a iphone 4 "flat not 3d" @ 190c for 300 seconds as advised by the machine manual and my god the case was melted to the metal mould

my question is - has anyone managed to get good results with cups or phone cases using this thing???

cheers

Lots and lots of threads on here about them being next to useless and going faulty for a pass time.

my works perfect.
before you try to pass the blame on your machine have a read a little ;)
2d cases and 3d cases are two different items.
3d case you place on mould and off you go.
2d case you press with your heat press and metal insert ONLY ;)

ref. mugs, have you warmed your machine up properly before placing mugs in?
have you put them in up side down or normal way? how many mugs at a time?

machine has always been warmed up every single time and the beeping noise goes on for a bit before i put the mug in and i only have ever put 1 mug in at a time with the cup bottom down.
ill be honest i didnt know about the 2d cases but i did buy them in error anway i only bought 15 just the iphone 4/4s mould was the only one i had

the guided time and temp for cups are well off and the results i get are far from constant.
ive bought 100 samsung s3 3d cases and 30 iphone 5 3d cases but there is no way im spending more cash on moulds for this unit

are you happy with unit paul?

I was going to be interested in buying your 3D machine but I'm confused in your first post you said you've done about 20 mugs and your last post you said you only put 1 mug in at a time
I have just noticed you have listed it on eBay and stated it has only been used twice max (do the maths that doesn't work out)

Also did you buy it new or used

I wouldn't class it as a sales pitch, i'll stick to buying new as no use for the 3D cases as they are all old models I have loads of now in stock
