I have a brand new, boxed Epson 7890 printer complete with warranty, a full set of SubliE ink carts and plenty of new rolls (different widths) of TruePix paper, probably in the region of 200m. If someone has been looking to buy a 7890 or ever thought of owning one I'm in a position to offer them a great deal right now. I might even have a second set of inks available to put in with the deal :-)

It will be delivered direct to you as part of the agreement. If you'd like to know more about the 7890 or would like to discuss prices etc. please do this via PM. I will bend my own forum rules and not put a price on this thread as I'm open to negotiations.

That is a fancy printer to have new and be selling - did you win it in a competition or something? Just being nosey!

Lol. I bought a 7890 at the back end of last year. Unfortunately it developed a fault and due my location Sawgrass have agreed to replace as the engineer wanted £1000 just to attend! My business model has changed a little since buying the printer so rather than have it and either use for the sake of it or use as a (all be it superb) photo printer I'm looking at possibly alternatives.

So is the faulty one available as well? What fault did it develop?

I tend to use the 4000 size models as they are sheet fed but the roll option I have been looking at lately. Problem is you often pick up bargains on the 9000 sizes.

They want it shipping back but I could ask the question. Assumption is that it needs a new head but might not be that severe. Anyhoo, keeping the 'sale' thread on topic..... ;-)

This would also be a bargain. The last ink that SG supplied me with had really good dates, end of July 2016 so I expect to get the same with the next two sets. One set could probably be kept on account and shipped when required to avoid and shelf life issues :-)

Anyone interested in discussing price please PM, ta.

Quick update on this. Due to geographical/cost issues the faulty printer isn't being returned. I'm coming to an agreement with the supplier and should now be able to offer this for sale. It will be sold as spares/repairs, worst case scenario is it needs a new head but after a standard clean all nozzles show clear, it's just when it's left overnight they start and block. IMO I don't think the head is gone but I want to be clear if selling it to anyone that this is possible. Otherwise it's as new and has had very little use. Subli-E carts are at least half full, I have a second full set which are about half used but SG advised against re-installing these. Please PM to discuss further.

The new printer is no longer for sale.
