The grass may be greener ...........

So, as the power supply for the shop won't be going on until next Tuesday we are a little limited in what we can do at the moment, so the missis said "why don't we give it a fresh lick of paint" (it didn't really need one).

So, I had a little think and thought I have a week or so before we have power so I thought I would theme the shop.

As we are in South Wales and surrounded by beautiful scenery I thought this would be a little apt. I have painted a bit more today (added some bull-rushes to one wall, a long windy path up the top of one of the hills, more trees and some grass just above the skirting board). As the shop will be a two pronged effort (kids clothes and accesories for 2-14 and personalised gifts) I also added/hid things amongst the scenery (like a red and green apple tree) where the kids can hunt to find whilst Mum/Dad is spending their money. They can also take up the challenge to count the sheep and trees and if they get it correct they get a sweet.

My idea is trying to be a little different and creating an 'experience' for people to come into ...............
