Re: hardly used epsom 7600 printer
Thanks Isaac11 ...I did follow that link .I dont think head is faulty jet streams look great with cleaning fluid .( I have experienced damaging heads when you put high presser with the syringe) .....I have done 3,4 power cleans and I could see the ink flow through ink lines only issue is after these power cleans it got worse ..I am so fed-up with this now really but the only plus point is clean jet stream through the head ....Isaac11;100732 wrote:Hello,
Can you show me your nozzle Check plz ?

I hope you didn't break something in the head with the seringe method because with to much preasure it's not good....
What you can do also it's to take out the head and place it on a recipient with some cleanning fluid and let it sit.
Re: hardly used epsom 7600 printer
if the joints aren't tight, properly secured then the printer will effectively be sucking air into the head rather than the ink, just like a CISS system on a small format printer. it's a shame you're even having to ask these questions, as for the price you paid, you should have been able to source a fully working 7600.

Re: hardly used epsom 7600 printer
Hi Pisquee , There was spring attached to the metal bracket which holds the head ..(Silver colour bracket with 2 screws and you have to remove these to take the head out )..This spring come off from the original position now I dont know who to put it back ..But it seems to be a not that important part so I dint put it back ..Can this be a issue ??..pisquee;100742 wrote:if the joints aren't tight, properly secured then the printer will effectively be sucking air into the head rather than the ink, just like a CISS system on a small format printer. it's a shame you're even having to ask these questions, as for the price you paid, you should have been able to source a fully working 7600.
Re: hardly used epsom 7600 printer
I remember reading a guide of taking the head off which very specifically said to be careful that the screw may spring off, and to be careful not to lose it, but I can't remember what it's for.
Re: hardly used epsom 7600 printer
