^Ucase - Checked settings, already set quite high but increased anyway. Tested again, it is going into the cart after around a minute but you don't know until you click on it to refresh.

^logobear - I have a supplier but they won't budge from a one off $1000. It is very good but I'm not sure that price can be justified :-)

It sounds like you have a missing hook of some sort. - Like it's stuck in a loop after adding to cart.

I hope support can help you out. Good luck & Keep me posted! Would be good to know what the problem is.

Hi Justin

Email your hosting provider and ask them to change

increase double:
memory_limit
upload_max_filesize
post_max_size

Then I the fancy product designer setting it should allow you to set a higher image size for upload without causing lag

Thanks Mattie, is this as well as changing all php files? I'm pretty sure we've done this with them already but I can ask the question. The photo I'm working with is under 1Mb so really not big at all.

Just tested with a 100Kb image and same issue occurs.

No problem you should only need your hosting company to change it on there server. Opencart php files don't always over ride your server as some hosting company don't allow it. There's no harm in changing your files as well though.

There is also something to do with mod_security that may need altering on your server but can't remember how to do it ask your hosting company to check it and I'll try dig out what I did couple years ago with my old site

Cheers Mattie, will have a word :-) Really struggling to get this set-up but it's probably as much down to my ignorance right now. Can't find the uploaded finished design anywhere, need to know where it should be putting them.

If you open the order and then click on the products tab and click the link "Detail order product design" under the product name this then opens the admin designer where you can download the finished design or edit it.

I'm terms of where the images are stored, they aren't it saves them as a database file to save server space

I get the completed item picture in details but then there's a screen to save/export, seems a little long winded but again I'll persevere!

Host company have confirmed the following:
memory_limit 128M

max_upload_filesize 10M

post_max_size 10M

Yeah it is a bit of slow process but like you say persevere with it and it will soon become an easy routine.

Did they confirm that's the maximum setting for your server
