Re: Is it possible to print borderless on Ricoh?
Nope - nor would it do you much good, as you still need an area of blank, unprinted space around the design to run your heat tape off on to.

Re: water residue look on phone cases
<t>Almost certainly paper fibre sticking - unfortunately, when using paper it seems to be unavoidable. Using film would result in a smooth gloss, but unfortunately the 'multifunction' type vacuum presses aren't really suitable for using these films (especially not with the type of image you're ...

Re: White Edged on Aluminium sheets
<t>May I also suggest ensuring the bed of the press is nice and warm prior to pressing? I always find that if the bed is cold, it can affect the transfer on some items (especially aluminium) dramatically. The solid black edge on that image you posted showed signs of under cooking in addition to the ...

<t>It could even be down to the dark colours / blacks burning - though I've never seen blacks burn quite as bad as that.<br/>

Re: I Phone Problems
<t>TruePix is fine for most applications, but I find that on aluminium phone inserts it does tend to stick. The problem comes from the required temperature (most places recommend between 180-200°C). Switching to a different brand actually fixed the problem for us - we can print as low as 170°C for ...

Re: Getting a good red
<t>As a general rule, when printing with the Ricoh I find that an RGB value of 185,0,0 (when using ICC Profiles, rather than PowerDriver) gives me a fairly good red across most products. Paper also plays a big part in this for me as well - I'm finding TruePix doesn't quite deliver full density for ...

Hehe, I never even though of that! I'd sooner sift through dodgey fixes on various forums and complain very loudly about it to everyone I know....

Re: Tablets - The computer kind
I've got the Scroll 9.7" version of this - nice little tablet, but I find the wifi reception so poor it's unreal! I'm going to hang on to my cash until the Goggle Nexus arrives....
