We get this sometimes if the plate below the needle is damaged, fine after changed.

We use the PR655 but will be upgrading in the very near future due to increased workload, never had a days problem with the brother but we are now looking at a twin head Merlin, for speed alone.

I had this a couple of time years ago (This was when I used water to cool mugs) , doesn't happen or should I say it hasn't happened since I air cooled them.

I had one of those years and years ago and I bought it second hand then...it's old and probably was an import from china, no idea what model it is, you might have more luck waiting for the antiques roadshow to hit your area

Hi, designs can be as complex or as simple as you require, the most time intensive job is in the conversion from vector to stitches, we do the basic conversions but for intricate / time consuming designs we outsource the conversion.
