Re: No ink on paper, new Epson ET-2720

Power clean fixed it but probably a waste of ink.

Re: No ink on paper, new Epson ET-2720

<t>I’ve set it going on power clean already now but my partner (who added the ink) just said it did that 10 minutes new printer pfaff before the sublimation ink was added, so I think that’s the problem. <br/>
<br/>
Will power clean fix this anyway? If not what do you do to start off that filling the ...

Re: No ink on paper, new Epson ET-2720

<r>We’ve added the sublimation ink, installed drivers, linked up the printer but when it prints no ink is on the paper at all. Has anyone had this? Done nozzle check, cleaned print head a couple of times, done test print. It seems to go through the motions of printing but nothing is on the paper ...

Re: Colour profile and hex codes confusion

<t>I haven’t done any sublimation for a couple of years so I’m feeling rusty and confused. We’ve just ordered an Epson ecotank 2720 (we used to have a Ricoh). I’ve been doing designs in Procreate so I’ve installed the right color profile for the new printer. I’ll also install it in photoshop but ...

Re: There is a super alternative to TruPix Paper

The link doesn’t work anymore. What is this paper called?

If it doesn’t exist now, do people think trupix is the best for mugs?

Re: ICC Profiles and Colour

OK I’ll have a go at sublimating a couple of these and see how they turn out.

Are they likely to become brighter though? I’d expect the other way around: printed colour becomes duller when sublimated.

Re: ICC Profiles and Colour

BTW I've just printed a print test page and it is the same. Cyan is a grey-y blue and magenta a dull purple.

Am I just being too hesitant to sublimate these? Will they suddenly transform to brighter colours?

Re: ICC Profiles and Colour

<t>I have chronic illness which causes brainfog so I'm struggling to get my head around colour issues and sublimation (and can't read long instructions).<br/>
<br/>
I've got as far as using what seems to be the correct ICC profile (previous mugs and coasters have been slightly off colour wise and I ...

Re: Balmoral china mug clamp size?

<r>We recently ordered the smaller Balmoral mugs. This was in error but we like them. We’re having trouble finding the right size mug clamp/wrap.<br/>
<br/>
Do you know where we can buy them?<br/>
<br/>
Do you know what size it should be? It seems like they need to stretch a bit, so the same size as ...
