Re: Secure paper to Plaque
<t>I designed the artwork to the exact size of the plaque face and then increased by 1/4" and cut out with a guillotine type paper cutter, then I use a quick spray with Conde's adhesive spray, line the transfer up and press smooth, after I peel the transfer off a quick wipe down with rubbing alcohol ...

Re: printing double sided flag
<r>Ahhh, eyelets are easier than you think! Check with a local marine supply shop/chandlery for a grommet punch system, it's a multiple step process to punch out a hole with a special die and a hammer, then a 2 part grommet (top and bottom) is inserted through the hole and a hand held die set is ...

Re: printing double sided flag
<t>What size flags? If they are the smaller car or garden type flags the 2 ply flags I got from Conde are not sewn at the end so a sheet can be inserted to keep the image from bleeding. Once you are done I spose you could sew it up or just leave it as is. Check your local flag supplier to see if the ...

Re: Printing on MDF plaques
<t>Hmmm, Conde in the US sells the dye trans spray, it's just a spray adhesive with light holding power and holds up under heat. Check the UK sublimation suppliers to see if they carry anything that would work. the spray made very quick work of the whole process. I printed, cut, glued and pressed 43 ...

Re: Printing on MDF plaques
<r>I gave up on the paper wrapping and ended up just cutting the image out and using dye trans spray to affix the paper to the plaque surface, only had to re-do 1 out of 45 plaques due to mis-alignment. After they cooled a quick spray cleaning with windex got the adhesive residue off. Pay close ...

Re: Something is not right with this mug print
<t>Does the streaking show up on the transfer paper or just the mugs? I've seen streaks like that randomly show up in a stack of transfers I just printed and I just throw that sheet out, never tried to sublimate it, but have never seen a mug turn out with streaks that didn't exist on paper. I'm ...
