Re: Orca coating coming off after a few months!

The problem you have is that the coating has not been cured properly.

I have seen this a few times in my years and it can be sorted (not that you should have to). All you need to do is put the plain mug in an oven for 15-20 minutes to cure the polymer coating properly. Unfortunately there is no ...

Not tried them but I wouldn't buy anything from Signzworld unless I had no other option.

Re: Orca coating coming off after a few months!

Thought I'd revive this thread as I'm having this same issue with the 11oz Orca mugs from Xpres. Had 6 customers reporting their mugs fail now (albeit out of thousands) and all stock from Xpres.

First ones were purchased on or around October 2025.

Concerning that I'm not the only one and even ...

Anybody here use Orca mugs from xpres?

We’ve been buying Orca mugs from Xpres for about a year and we’ve started getting reports from customers where the entire coating has started to peel off. In fairness we sell quite a lot and have only had a handful of reports but it’s very concerning as it obviously affects how customers perceive ...

For Sale VIPColor VP700 Roll Label Printer

Not sure if anyone here would be interested as I know these are pricey machines but we are moving away from printing rolls of labels so are looking to sell these two machines (either separately or together as a bundle).

The VP700 printer is a memjet based printer and can print 8 inches wide up to ...

Re: Wide format fastest print and cut?

We looked at going down the route of a wide format coupled with a graphtec cutter at one point but realised it’d be too much hassle. The only advantage would be it could’ve been left to run overnight but then we’d have loads of mug wraps to collect and make sure they were right way round, etc.

We ...

Re: Compatible sawgrass ink for sg500

You can’t print through sawgrass print manager with compatible inks and ICC profiles don’t work properly with the SG500 so it’s a bit of a no go really.

Re: Which Printer for Sublimation?

<t>Before you reply telling me to search threads etc, hear me out. <br/>

When we started doing sublimation (10 years ago) we started out with an Epson workforce printer, refillable cartridges from eBay and Chinese ink that ‘just worked’ without a profile. We were new to the game and we were ...
