Re: GX7000 intermitent printing
<t>Quick update. After much hairpulling I resorted to a full reinstall of windows and all associated bits inc up to date drivers for everything. All seemed fine till I went to do a print ...... Nothing! I went through the set up again 'word by word' along with a double check of every click and ...

Re: GX7000 intermitent printing
<t>Thanks for the advice people, much appreciated. The same computer is also the one I use for vinyl cutting. I did a cut vinyl job today and had a similar problem arise when cutting. The machine seemed to hesitate while cutting as if the data was flowing very slowly, so it could be a spooling ...

Re: GX7000 intermitent printing
<t>Hi guys. I'm having problems with my Richo GX7000 only printing when it wants to. Basically, sometimes it prints fine then other times I just get a printed band around 10mm then nothing, not even any streaking across the page. I get the band and nothing more often than a good print. I've just ...

Re: Not new, but back again.
<r>Hello again. I apologise for not being around much lately, but I've been a bit preoccupied with recovering from a slight mishap involving a car and a motorcycle. I'll not go into details but, I've ended with a few bits of me that not quite are not as nature intended. Let's just say I'm looking ...

Re: Picture resizing and printing query
<t>John. The piccy was from a phone and came to me via e-mail, I had to crop it to an area showing 6 faces from a photo in a restaurant. I did the intial cropping etc in paintshop pro and then moved it to my print computer. I reckon it lost detail in saving and moving the file. I'm now going to ...

Re: Picture resizing and printing query
<r>Thanks for quick answer. I think I have reshade lurking somewhere in my comp, I'll hava hunt.<br/>
Hmm, it seems I'm doing the resizing wrong, draging the image down to a workable size using the corner handles without upping the dpi, is a good way to lose definition. I'm off to have a play with ...

Re: Picture resizing and printing query
<t>Hi everybody.<br/>
I'm having problem with picture resizing to enable the picture to be printed on mugs. It seems my pictures are losing dpi's somewhere and not giving a good enough print quality. I'm using a Ricoh GX7000 through Corel Draw X5 for printing, the image comes a bit blurry and has ...

Re: Mugs in the post? Best method.
Thanks for the avice, I'll have a look round and see what I can find. I applogise for not saying thanks sooner, but some young 'chav' decided to park his car rather heavily into the telephone pole feeding my house so we have been without phone or web access for a day or so.

Re: Mugs in the post? Best method.
<t>Hi all. I have been asked to supply a car club with some mugs that they can sell on to their members. how do I post them? I've seen some polystyrene mug post boxes. Would it be an idea to get some of these and put each mug into one and then pack in a box and post to them? I can add a bit on to ...
