Re: EBay Find - A4 Bookbinding Heavy Press for coasters/placemats
Never had a warping problem with coasters, even the cheapest ones work. Table mats are a nightmare.

Re: EBay Find - A4 Bookbinding Heavy Press for coasters/placemats
<r>Hope it works but my first thought is to cut a piece of kitchen worktop the same size as the pressure plate and stack on top of the mats. This will spread the pressure instead of concentrating it in the centre. Many presses have triangular ribs on the plate to prevent bending.<IMG src="https ...

Re: 1810 or 2850 ?
Thanks for the reply, just purchased an 1810 from Ink Experts. Probably need to check if my Adkins beta still works after being stored for 8 years....

Re: 1810 or 2850 ?
Just about to jump back into dye sub for low volume output. The Epson 1810 would probably be ok but is there anything to be gained from getting the 2850 which is around £100 more ?
Cheers

Re: Recommendations
Leaning toward a 2850 via Ink Experts. I have Mirage rip for my a2 Epson but probably not much use for A4, don't really want to go down the A3 sub route. Seems odd that Sawgrass would isolate a whole section of users with their approach to profiles but their loss is Epson's gain.

Re: Recommendations
Thanks, I am finally getting back into dyesub after many years, printer choice was easy back then but a bit confused now. I have an xrite istudio so can produce my own profiles. Does this not work if I print through photoshop using this profile or does the printer essentially ignore them ?.

Re: Sg400....
<t>I have been keeping my SG400 fed and on standby for what seems like years and promised myself that this is the end of the road when the ink needs replacing. Switched off a couple of weeks ago and decided to sell. LOL it is not even listed on eBay any more so time to recycle. Before it goes to the ...

Re: Mouse mats
<t>Many moons ago I was making table mats from pre made cheap tesco mats. I used twin sided adhesive film to fix a picture to the front and self adhesive cork sheet for the back. A bit tedious as both sides had to be trimmed but the results were good. If you can't find self adhesive cork then you ...
