This has been a common problem with the Epson sublimation printers.
We switched to s print paper without having to change the print density and have had zero issues since.

I've been setting mine to a constant 180c and pressing for 180 - 210 seconds, similar to what I done with my Adkins mug press. For a full wrap, I'll add an extra minute.
