Im looking to set up a website to advertise our services etc and also to sell some clothing for various fitness groups and gyms that I work for .

Who are people using for fairly simple site building and good hosting ? #

Also , from friends experiences , what hosts help get your site onto google , yahoo etc. without lots of complicated code work

I set up a site for a friend on Weebly very quickly. My own site is through OpenCart. We pay Weebly each year to avoid advertising and add a few extras etc. but it's not too much.

I concur with Justin on both of his recommendations. Weebly is a very easy pay-as-you-go type of hosting with a very simple but effective web builder. I use Opencart and find it a lot easier than other carts around. We all have our preferences though. A very reliable, cost effective and steady host service that IO can recommend isCloudshards . Budget hosting from £2 a month, Enterprise from £12 a month and VPS from £57 a year plus £25 for full management. I have never had any problems with them.

Thanks for the suggestions , I had a play with weebly over weekend and it seems easy to use . I will post my results up here once Ive finished it .......then everyone can rip it to pieces and I can start again
