Hi All,



I am getting incomplete transfer with my equipment below:
Printer: Epson L800
Ink: (name removed by admin)
Paper: standart chinese sublimation paper
Heat transfer: 3d sublimation vacuum machine st3042
ICC profile is not native, i find one similar on specs from ink supplier

I have make several test in different heat and temperatures and my best result is attached but it is still far away what i actually need. I use 190 celsies with 8 minutes of sublimation and got attaches results. as you see the corners are a bit better than the middle of the case, this could be vacuum issue.
I am not sure how to deal with current issue, please help me, right me your advises.

I don't have the big 3d machine I have the mini but I think your too hot or your time is too long try 190c for 360sec and see if thats any better. To me that looks like your over cooking the ink but i'm sure someone with the big machine will be along to confirm and have some working times for you.

I'd say it's the other way around, to be honest. Look at the paper... there's still a load of ink on it, which means that it hasn't sublimated properly. As the colours all sublimate at different temperatures, it's easy to tell whether it's reached the correct core temperature and this looks too cold - as though some colours started to sublimate while others hadn't quite reached that point yet.

I will always recommend pre-heating the jig considerably and then having the whole process down to around 3.5 minutes to allow for full sublimation.
