Take a look at these two photographs of the clamp which opens and closes. Is everyone's Studio press the same as this? I don't understand why there is room for side to side movement and I believe it might be the reason why I've been having problems with printing. Shouldn't there be a spacer to prevent movement?

mine moves too if I remember correctly...assumed it was meant to be that way, but never really thought much about it!

I have very little movement on mine. I actually went to have a look out of curiosity.

The movement room should not be more than .5 inch, and movement should be in this particular range for accurate printing.
