So a customer just tried to upload a 22Mb photo to me for an order ;-) She's ended up having to email across a standard connection. I suggested Dropbox but she'd never heard of it, lol.

Is there an easy file sharing solution or an add on to Opencart from one of these services that could make this easier? Bearing in mind the folk uploading have very little computer knowledge.

We have a 50mb file upload limit, you might need to check with your hosting provider your php.ini settings or use a htaccess workaround to try to achieve a higher upload limit.

You could consider HIGHTAIL, its the one I use all the time for receiving and sending files. They have a free version and a paid one with differences to each.

media fire offer "filedrop" file is uploaded normal way via website upload button. i think single file size limit is 2GB and all files go straight to your hosting. maybe worth a look.

I found a link to the site Paul, uploaded a large file and it said do I want to upload anything else? No links or anything though :-( Do I need to register free account? just done that anyway. Would a customer be able to upload without registering.

Over-thinking this a little maybe as most images will be smaller but kinda just playing devils advocate!

edit: Just re-read you post Paul and noticed you mention the upload button, doh! I see what you're saying now, sorry.
