Just had a customer in my shop who wanted t shirts with blood type text , it turns out this guy has a pretty cool hearse which he uses for shows etc . the hearse is kitted out complete with a glass coffin in the back with draculas bride in it. he told me in great detail how hes customised it with skulls flashing lights smoke the lot sounded really really cool . This guys enthusiasm was infectious his smile nearly filled the shop and he bounced as he spoke . A happier guy you could ever meet.
he went on to tell me how he uses the hearse when he drives to the hospital each week , "i bet that scares the heck outta the patients" i said and we had a good laugh about it i then said well its a blummin good work vehicle what do you do there?
"oh no he said i dont work there i go for treatment weekly" he beamed when he explained this and what was wrong with him. Apparantly he has a rare condition thats incurable he seemed quite proud of the fact that one of the 3 ghost busters died recently of the same condition. i cant remeber the name of his disease but they can only supress it not cure it but now he's past that stage .
When diagnosed with the condition you have an average of 6 years left to live he was laughing whilst telling me this . he is now in the final stages of this i didnt have the guts to ask him how long he had left but im guessing its not that long . What a great guy!
so when you're sat whinging cause somethings gone wrong or your sales are down or the customers are getting too you (we all do it me included) please read through this post and put life back in perspective .
For those interested he has a face book page search "marishkas hearse" go and like it
out of all the crap im gonna face today tomorrow and the next i hope i can be a tiny bit as happy as this guy seemed
happy wednesday all
