I have been doing a bit of sublimation printing, started I january and everything has been going great, this past week the quality of print has gone down, its not as crystal clear as it was or should be, and ideas on what I can do? Tried cleaning print heads. Also if anyone can recommend a good quality paper to use with this i would be appreciated

Hello and welcome

Would be good to hear what your setup is, printer, paper etc. so we can advise further. If you're looking for a cheaper paper then the Xpres branded stuff is really good. Tru Pix is a brilliant paper but costs a little more

As Justin said - we need a lot more information on what you are using in terms of equipment, consumables, and software
And has any of this changes since you started?
Photos of what you mean by bad print quality will help too.

Its an epson xp-202 and I use photoshop, its all a but new to me I have a canvas printing business and thought I would give this a go, Iimages used to print perfect but now they are not printing as sharp, text prints fine just the images, im not sure what the paper I am using is at the min as it was given to me with the printer but I dont think its the best quality so any advice on paper would be great whatever the cost.originall it came with a couple of pieces of different papet which were alot better quality than what I have now but the lady who I bought it off cant remember what brand it was. Nothing has changed since setting it up, the print has just gone a bit poor, its not really bad but as I know what it usually prints like there is something not right
Thanks

You say nothing has changed, but you also say that the paper has changed, that you were given a few different types with the printer, but you don't know what they are. (unless I'm reading your post wrong)
The quality of sublimation paper is important, and will effect the quality of your prints. Equally, the ICC you use is somewhat dependant on the sublimation paper it was made for, so if you've changed papers, then you're ICC is essentially invalid now too.
The best sublimation paper we have used is Coldenhove's JetCol HighSpeed for both fabric work and hard substrates, although I am not sure if it's available in A4 cut sheets in the UK (They definiitley make it, but I can't remember if I've seen anyone here selling it. iSub (I think) are the main dealer for them, so give them a call.

Thanks for that, yes I know the quality of paper I originally had was alot better as I found 2 sheets of it which I printed on but the picture was still poor, better than the other paper but still not as it should be

Are you running the printer with a CISS or refill carts?
What is your nozzle check like?
Please post some pictures so we can see what you're talking about
