So, I have my personal Facebook account, sorted. I set up a business page a while ago but really need to start pushing it. Do you need a certain number of 'likes' to be able to post in group sections? I can see local business groups in my personal account but not my business.....wondering if I've set something up wrong! lol.

Confused.com over this Or should that be #confused? Twitter? Don't get me started on that!

Maybe is still there but right on the bottom? So you need to extend the view to see it? Facebook normaly show only most busy ones on the top.

But I can't even find these groups on a search Paul....as I can with personal account

you actually can as i did that. but not to all of them. this must be something to do wit group settings maybe?

Thought this might be the case but one local group is a Business Classifieds and businesses are posting there...unless they've created personal accounts with business names?

I thought the only way of getting exposure of your business page on Facebook was to:

Get Likes.
Have people 'Check In' when they are physically at your business.
Have people post images of your work, and tag your business in that
Pay for facebook advertising.

I am probably missing something though - Dont like the idea of posting in other peoples groups as to me thats spamming !

Struggling to find a definitive answer, there are deffo local businesses posting in this open group. I found a follow button but it's greyed out....must be something I need to do or achieve, a number of likes for example.

you can post in group but you need to set it to post as a page. Or you trying to share post from your wall to the group?
