I currently tend to use Super Flex from Xpres and whilst I'm quite happy with it I'm thinking about looking at their other vinyls again. I did test them years ago and found the Super Flex to be best for small weeding but wonder what folk think of Easy Flex and Ultra Cut for example? I did use to like using the sheets of easy cut, being screen printed they gave a nice, slightly different finish.
I'd be interested to hear if there's much difference in terms of thickness/feel/look on the shirts, Easy Flex for example I read is a semi-matt finish.
I'll be ordering for a job this week which is straight forward vinyl lettering so might be a good time to try.

We use Easy Flex for some jobs but I don't think it is great, I think it has a more gloss looking finish tbh and looks a bit cheap in my opinion. But in saying that we probably use it more than any of the other vinyl's due to price and versatility. If we offer a different price to the customer for that or Super then most are happy to go with the Easy Flex. I find Super and Multi to have the best finish but have not tried Ultra yet. We also use sport flex for stag and hen jobs as it's a great price, not great for detailed work as it's quite thick, I personally quite like the finish on it but it does protrude out a bit unlike the Super.

We have only ever used Xpres for vinyl. And normally use Easy Flex, and Ultra Cut. I find Ultra cut is the best, great for small text, very nice matt finish, I would say the Easy Flex gives more of a Gloss effect, but maybe that's just me!
Only problem with Ultra Cut it's VERY sticky, but that be the reason the small text says down

All good stuff!

I've gone with Super Flex for this job but taken the oppurntunity to try a couple of different vinyls from Ralawise. MT100 MagiCut Jumbo Paper and RF001 RalaFlex. The MT100 comes in sheets which is useful, looks great as it's screen print ink based......I'll see how it cuts

If you don't mind me going off topic, albeit slightly, I'd like to know how thin the vinyls are that you guys use? I've always used Hot Flex from MDP but when I'm doing some more intense layering, like an eight-colour design that I have to do every few months, I wish it wasn't quite as thick. By the time the last colour goes on you can see bits of white edging appearing in places and I just find it a tad unsightly. Feel free to delete this if it's too off topic!
