Hi Guys,
I'm after some advice on how best to sub a T-shirt.
I 'borrowed' someones 100% cotton t-shirt and sub'd that, came out ok apart from looking burnt around the outside.
Anyone got any tips, hints on whats best to sub on, temperatures, times etc

I would suggest you read up on sublimation, you can't sublimate on 100% cotton

Cheers Mattie, Thats why i'm asking the question?
The 100% cotton t-shirt ive sublimated this morning doesnt look too bad ( Apart from the yellowing around the edge)
What do you suggest are the best for printing on?

i would say polyester/mix

they do say you can do it 50/50 mix but it's not recommended as from what I can see on suppliers sites they are all 100% polyester and that is all I have ever printed.
I was just meaning instead of asking a question that people just seem to join the forum to ask instead of searching it or googling it, many people have came along asked a question then never seen again

Try washing the cotton one and see what happens...I'd imagine it'll fade very badly after one wash, as there is nothing for the ink to bond to. I'd agree that 100% polyester is going to be your best bet for printing to. They are available from many of the suppliers listed here, but we don't generally sublimate to t-shirts ourselves, so can't really give any advice on what suppliers are best.
