Turned on my original trusted mug press today( a df something from Bms) and the temp stayed at 21, is this likely to be the blanket or does it sound like whole thing is broken.

sounds like the blanket may have blown...did you get any pops, fizzes, or smoke?! That's what happened when our mug press blanket first blew....frightened the life out of me! admittedly it was a cheap press!

Hi Jason, it can only be the blanket or the control box. If you unplug the wrap and turn the control box back on, do you get an E1 or E2 error?

No, absolutely no sound or smoke, just plugged it in and turned it on and the temp flickers around 20-21

Please don't be tempted to shop around for a replacement, as not all mug presses and blankets are wired the same, even for presses which look identical. So, if you have a BMS press, you should definitely get your replacement blanket from them too.
(unless you have a multimeter, a soldering iron, a knowledge of electrics, and don't mind some testing and rewiring!)
