I need some flyers and it will be a lot cheaper to make them myself (as I got all of that ink for free..lol) but I need the correct paper !

A4 and glossy.

So, any suggestions as to what to use ?

Are you sure you can do them cheaper yourself? some of the prices I have seen flyers advertised for lately, I'm pretty sure I couldn't even buy the paper for less, let alone print and cut them.

I got a great deal recently which meant I received 13 sets of standard Ricoh Inks for free - This is the reason I am thinking it would be cheaper for me to print these myself.

Recently I found (Literally found) a fairly good Guillotine also which makes things a bit easier

The only problem, still is the paper !

I only need 50, or maybe even less - this is just for my new 'Promotions Bag' which I will carry around different places looking for exposure !

A decent 100/120gsm paper would do - not sure about your printer but using glossy may be problematic due to drying/smudging.

It is the 'Smudging' and potentially 'Never Drying' I was worried about - I just wanted some sort of 'Sheen'.

Will try a few papers today.

gloss art papers will not take inkjet ink, - they almost 'never' dry ......
Gloss art stock is more dence than regular paper, so you need a heavier gm than regular laid paper
If you only want 50 off - you are at the mercy of whatever paper your stationer will sell you, - but I think heavier stock is more 'keepable'
300gram goes through my inkjets fine, - 400 at a push (literally)

If you have a poundworld near you then their gloss inkjet paper is great stuff. It is two packs of ten sheets for a pound, so can't go wrong with it and it dries really well. It is 260gsm though, so may be a little thick for fliers. We have been using it for years with no problems.

Just been to Poundland, all they had were packs of 12 220gsm photo papers.

Went next door to Hobby Craft and ended up with 160gsm card - about half the weight I was looking for but that's all I could find really.. Will keep an eye on Puundland for the paper you speak of from now though.
