well...my 19.5st ass has eventually broken my the gas strut on my rather large office chair.....
after on 1.4 yrs of my backside thumping up/down on it, it finally gave up....on the down position....so unless one is a 4ft midget, it was off to the skip tomorrow and another £160 for a new one this weekend

then, as if by magic....i had a premonition, a flash of brilliance, a light emanated from the ceiling, which i thought was odd as i had the light switch in the OFF position, and i heard a voice saying ( in deep voice ) BUY A NEW GAS STRUT FROM EBAY MA LAD ( end of big deep voice ) - and i thought, thats no a bad idea there big fella....

off my fingers went to look, while my backside felt sorry for its self with having to use the other SMALLER office chair in which it ( my backside ) just about squeezes into between the arms....
so we found one for -
£9.99 incl delivery - so ma fat ass is a happy fat ass once again and all is right in the world, well the world the width of my backside that is  delivered today

jeez, i need to lay off the coffee

Then I shall take this off your hands! lol. Didn't know you could just get the struts, you live and learn....not that I've ever broke one. I remember my boss falling to the floor (He was 28st+ we reckoned) as the legs split into several parts beneath him. It was so blooming funny but we knew he wouldn't see the funny side so we struggled to hold it in!

Im lucky, the next town to us is a office place that repairs/reboxes sent back office equipment, i picked a staples skyline executive chair for £45 just a few scratches on the base should have been £230
