Hi Guys,
I bought a ricoh 3110 via fleabay, the listing said sublimation ink included. After receiving the printer today I checked the cartridges and they seem to be the original ink. Can you still change to sublimation ink or does the printer need to be in a "virgin" state?

Once you've installed the inks the only way to change over to sublimation is to flush the old inks through using subli inks, very expensive due to a high amount of waste, probably be cheaper just to buy another printer tbh depending what you paid. If the auction stated subli inks included you should have some come back and if there not Sawgrass approved inks you can report the seller for selling third party inks! lol.

Thanks Justin, I have only received it today and will have to return it. I paid £150 + pp, a brand new one is only £100. This is the listing
" Ricoh sublimation printer
Ac cable
USB cable
Installation/driver disc all inc
The printer has a full set of almost full inks installed already and an extra new yellow and magenta unopened ( all the ink is sublimation ready ink )
Print t-shirts / phone cases/ mugs / canvasses etc "
The cartridges are in a clear bag and have no info on them, I have compared the to original ones and they look like originals.

Have you tried printing with the printer to see if the inks do sublimate?
The advert didn't state the brand of ink, just that they were sublimation inks, and the only way to find out is to use the printer, and then heat press the transfer onto some polyester.
