Re: Ceramic types

I'm getting close to what I want in a new mug style, but can someone give me an overview of the ceramic materials in terms of quality and customer perception?
What is confusing me is that the terms are often confused depending on what country you are living in and where they are manufactured.
Xpres for example stock, Porcelain, Bone China and Fine Bone China. So which one would you think the customer will pay more for?
Also, am I right in thinking that our standard chunky Durham mugs are stoneware?
