Sorry, I feel I am asking, asking, asking.

Just a couple of newbie (or perhaps a stupid user) questions.

When the mug is ready and the alarm goes off, what button do you press to switch the alarm off?

Can I leave the machine switched on while I am getting another mug ready? Or rather, how long would you leave it switched on for when not in use?

If you were doing say 10 mugs, does the temp/time of the first one differ from the rest (given that the first one has the machine heating up from scratch and the rest will go in at the idle temperature)

Button on far right is the start/ stop button
Settings can remain the same as sublimation doesn't happen at the idle temp - you can leave it switched on and it will return
to the idle temp if not started again.

When the black is coming out slightly brown and text isn't as sharp as it should be...I think I need to reduce the temperature?
What kinda increments are good to trial (yip, I am clueless!) ie. if the press is set at 170C, do I reduce to 169C or 165C or 160C?

Browning black is caused by too much heat for too long. Take time down to 120 seconds for the first mug and temp down to 165. I'm 5 mins away from catching a flight so I probably won't be back on here. Any probs then give Scott a call at the office next week.

I have to say, the number of times people have asked this, it makes you wonder if the instructions are not that clear, and indeed they do appear to be a bit non - user friendly and even written in "chinglish" perhaps its time for a new version BMS ?? we struggled to understand ours when we first had it, as its written by someone who knows what it is and what it does - rather than written for a new user

Maggie, Don't worry about such questions - if you don't ask you will never know the answer and end up costing yourself a fortune.

BMS are always here to help with questions, which is a very good thing to do from a suppliers point of view - they are also a great place to buy your gear/blanks etc.

If only we could get more suppliers on here - we would all be happy.

But, in any case - your questions (and answers from members) will show up in Google searches - bringing more traffic to this mine of information so we all win in the end.
