Hi All,
I'm soon to launch my website but using GoDaddy. I just wondered if anyone knew if I could add one of those programs that allow the customer to upload pic for customisation etc?
Many thanks,
Soon to launch website using GoDaddy but got question?

Hey Alf,
Check with GoDaddy themselves, They may have a plugin for this very thing or have a 3rd party plugin available. You also need to make sure you have enough space on your server for files to be uploaded to. Quick online search will bring up scripts you can implement to your site, Some patience required though.

Ah, a situation I am familiar with - do they have a website builder which you intend to use? I ask because godaddy is just a host as far as I recall.
If so, and they dont have an image uploader you will have to get one custom made - I got one done for £200 and it's great (I have a man in mind who can do this for you, maybe).
I looked at quite a few ecommerce systems, didnt like a lot of aspects of most of them and settled on Cubecart but had to get this module made as nobody had made one for this system (the New V.5 of it anyway).
You can hire the Image Uploaders monthly, hosted on the vendors server - I didnt want to go this route as I wouldnt have full control (they could stop trading at any moment leaving you in the lurch).
