Hi, Sorry for jumping in - I am new to sublimation I am ok with coasters but everytime I do placemats they come out mottled on the black pictures - I have tried with teflon and parchment and nothing I also tried pre heat - the current temperature and times are 185c for 65 secs and medium pressure (4) I just don't know where I am going wrong. I have bought a humidity sensor to see if it was moisture but I did buy a temperature gun and its showing 20c less the digital display. Any help or advise anybody can give would be extremely grateful.

Dark colours especially black need a longer time. I would set press to 190 and try 75 or 85 seconds.

Hi, Thanks for your speedy reply - I will try 190 for 75-85 seconds. Would the -20c temperature effect the quality or is this normal. I have only had the machine a week. Thanks
