Hi All

I recently posted a thread saying that I required two pieces of dye sub metal for a plaque. I posted on here instead of purchasing from a supplier as it was only two pieces that I needed because I do not do that much metal.

Within hours Nicci at Subli Metals responded and said she would post the two pieces out to me which I received the next day!!!!

A lot of suppliers seem to only be interested in your money (this is NOT aimed at any supplier on here ) so it is a pleasant surprise when they go out of the way for you and something that should be shouted from the roof tops!

The order was completed just in time and the frame is now hanging in the studio of the artist involved, while Nicci's children have the "pleasure" of his full discography sent to them from Universal as a thank you.

Everyone's a winner, except possibly Nicci's neighbour's :frown:

Thank you Simon:redface:!

Before I start a stampede, I wouldn't necessarily respond to every request for an item by sending a freebie lol - but I thought your request was very genuine, and had a specific need (an odd size) that I thought not many would be able to help you out with. But especially I thought you deserved to get something back from this forum as you give your time so freely to help others.

As you mentioned, I have also gained in a 'karma' way - with definite kudos earned from our 15 year old, when I showed him your frame. And luckily for me (and my neighbours!), the teenagers are Carl's kids and don't live with us, just stay over every other weekend, so free the CDS you sent us will only be played here occasionally lol and will be very much appreciated by all 3 teenagers.

My girls are too little (3 and 6 year olds) to 'appreciate' Eminem yet:biggrin: lol

Nicci:smile:

ha, i know what you mean about the Eminem, went through a couple of years of that with my son - a heady mix of music coming from the bedroom, now his tastes have changed and i love some of the stuff he listens to, although the closest i will get to his skindread and combichrist dates will be the car park when i drop him off !!
