If they need baubles then the only way I could think of doing these would be by water slide decal, not sure on their durability but if they are only hanging on a tree then they would be fine. There are loads of sublimation Christmas decorations available which are flat available through the usual suppliers.

I do not do water decals but thought this info might be useful in your search.

I've decided after looking it up that it is so easy to do even a monkey like me can do it. So I'm going to do them myself next week after I've got some decal paper and acrylic spray. Watch this space!

The sublimation ones are printed just like an iPhone case. Print into metal insert, fix to ball shaped bauble. Simple! :)

Thank you bms and Nicci. I'll take you up on the offer Nicci when I can. I've never touched metal before, i phone cases etc. I'm hoping this is going to be as easy as I think it is. If they are silver baubles what colour decal paper would I need? I was thinking clear. Is that right? Or should it be white? When I was looking up this wet slide decal on you-tube it seems you can decorate mugs, on the inside as well as the outside. That might be handy to know for other mug sublimaters on here if it works. I couldn't find if they would be dishwasher proof like the sublimated ones I make. Anyone tried this? I will see if I can do some trials. My daughter decorated loads of ordinary cheap mugs for a charity with sharpie marker pens that all washed off, might be able to rescue the mugs with this other method.

you can use water slide, sublimation, and for words vinyl is good.
