I'm leaning toward the idea of making my own Mug Templates, it would be nice to Trace so I am considering a Tablet.
Just been using a Wacom Intous 2 with mixed results - they will take some getting used to it would seem.
I have had some in the past but didnt get on with them - they would have been cheap ones.
Does anybody here use One? advice would be most appreciated.
Which one?

I use the cheapest of the cheap! .... No need to throw money at something that might just sit on the desk. I got the Aiptek SlimTab. Does exactly what it says on the tin and only cost £30 on Amazon. Came with quite a bit of software and has numerous accuracy and sensitivity settings along with several desktop layouts for rapid switching between tools.

We've used bamboos and intuos. Both really good but takes a while to get used to. Persevere and they're worth the money.

Just ordered an Intous Pen (Small) as these have taken over from the Bamboo, the reviews look good.
ebay sellers are selling the same thing for £90 when the official Wacom site have them at £59 inc vat !
You can even get the medium version for £90 on eBay but I don't want this taking up too much space.
Will let you know how I get on.

Now thats just what I want!
If I understand it right you can use this like a sheet of paper so that you see hat you are drawing AND place the pen anywhere and know where you are on the sheet relative to other parts of whatever you are drawing.
i was thinking this would be the perfect way to very quickly get direct input of childrens drawings etc at playgroups and the like for printing onto mugs, teas towels, coasters etc.
But then I saw the price

(
Scanning umpteen pieces of paper suddenly seems to be the way forward again!
