Hi all,
I have someone that's enquired about some rain jackets and I was going to use a nylon rain jacket and then get in some nylex garment vinyl (for nylon).
BUT, then I saw these and the description which says
"Fabric: 190T Polyester with AC coating - Weight: 181g/m²".
The description also states
"Decoration process: direct print, digital transfer print & screen print transfer"
Has anyone printed these before (the brand is: R204X Result Core Adult Windcheater) or if not do you think they will print with standard garment vinyl (that works on cotton and polyester) ?
Many thanks
Adam

I dont think you need any lower temp. Polyester can take more then cotton. I would have a go with standard vinyl. Nut i must admit i dont know what is ac coating

Thanks Dave, yeah I know about the 123flex - I was just seeing if this could be done with standard garment vinyl as the design I printed of them previously on t-shirts and hoodies has about 5 colours so getting in something that will probably never be used again won't be very cost effective

Thanks Paul - that was exactly the reason I thought to ask. Polyester - no problem, AC Coating ............. ummm?

Hi Adam,
Ive printed flex onto the 207 and the 428 from Result and had no problems. The Core range a more durable but I dont think you will have problems with normal flex. If it can be screen printed then flex should stick as well. Just make sure the jacket is opened out on the press and you put a sheet of non stick , teflon paper on the press base. If the seams are welded so they are waterproof then the glue from the welding tape will stick to the platten. The teflon will, with care, peel off.
Id buy one piece and test it first if not sure.
