Hi folks can anyone guide me on setting this printer up.

i was under impression I had downloaded relevant software, though cannot print as their seems to be a communication problem with pc and printer

Possibly port error ?

Did you follow the instructions on the Sawgrass website?

I followed them to a T last week with mine and it's working a treat

I just set my new Ricoh up again on my Mac, just now.

Have you gone through all of this: Ear. and I had to use a USB cable to set up my printer in the first instance before I could add it to the network - that might have been just the way I did it though.

Gonna give this another go and see if I can get set up following the link !

question: should I upload printer driver disc first and do a Quick install by USB, Quick install for Network as I've a standard printer/scanner for other use or PCL/Rpcs raster Printer Drivers ?

Install the driver that came with the printer first, make sure the printer can be seen.

Then get the Power Driver, and Win profile and install those. Full instructions are on the same page as the downloads under Support Documents.

It was straight forward for me every time I had to do it. I think I had to restart Photoshop before the Sublijet profile appeared though.

You don't need to install the win profile, surely that would confuse it as the win profile is an ICC profile, the powerdriver does all that for you. I downloaded the latest version of the raster driver off the sawgrass website, then install it, after installation and the printer is seen download the powerdriver and install that, (make sure they are for the correct printer model!). .register it, enter the code and away you go..(even though I had to call them as I never got a code via email). Set up whatever programs you're using with the instructions again on the sawgrass website

Up and running now and was mainly printing Mugs the past week, all was going well but I've run into a few problems with the heat press, so hoping to sort ur those problems quickly .Will be attempting few other samples that I bought along with the presses over the next week or so !

Hi quick question, I'm at the point that I have the ICC installed AND the powerdriver and I'm not happy with the colours comming out. Now I understand that I need the ICC OR the powerdriver. So if I'm using the powerdriver, what ICC shoud I asign to the Ricoh?
