I'm making a plaque form my grandmothers grave as the family never put a headstone there. What would I need to put on the sublimated metal to stop the print fading?

Cheers
Dan

I know coatings exist but I've never tried them.....uv resistant glass may be an option?

Personally I wouldn't bother. I experimented with this a few years ago and the sprayed version faded more quickly than the non sprayed version. Test was two identical images onto metal, printed and one sprayed. Both left outside our unit for 6 months+ until someone pinched them both!

Hello A11kns, I have been using Photo Rock Slates that has been left by the grave side treated with Digi Coat UV Protection Coating. I can't say if they have faded or not but going on what it says on the tin I don't think they will.

Rock Slates really go well by the grave.

You can get Digi Coat UV Protection Coating from HERE
