Hi I make leotards. I am looking for a method of printing on to lycra fabrics. Is this possible with dye sublimation? What equipment would I need. Could anyone do a couple of custom transfers so I can see what the results are like. Alternatively would anyone be interested in supplying custom transfers
Thanks for any help in advance

i know a company in leicester who produce leotards and leggins, and they have a very big direct to garment printer, so they print up the material before they make up the garments what colour leotards will you be using, and are you trying to get the effect over the whole garment or only a small portion of it

Could be any colour leotard and would like the option to print over whole leotard and also small transfer type image. But I don't really know the feasibility of any or all in small scale production.

Sublimation is suited to polyester and white/very light colours at best.. so think you would be better suited to looking in to the other avenues mentioned

exactly what i was thinking renniwano, hence me asking the questions, hopefully Roger can sort some transfers for them in the meantime, but i think anything bigger will require a new way of thinking
