Re: Birthday Banners (not sublimation)

Post by AdamB »

Hi all,

just wondering if anyone knew of a standard printer (not sublimation) for printing generic birthday banners?

These would be on heavy type paper - just used for kids parties etc (i.e not outdoor usage). And would be a standard size banner, we sometimes have them done by someone we know but we're looking into if it would be viable to get a dedicated printer for them?

I remember years ago, most A3 printers came with a spool thingymebob at the rear to be able to print banners - but can't seem to find any now?

As always - any help, greatly appreciated :)

Think for roll feed printers you're now looking at 17"/A2 size as a minimum - if just for churning our banners, you could get a use Epson 4000 pretty cheap on Ebay (or 4400 would be better but rarer as only 4 colours)
