Hello everybody,
I just receive this oven :
http://www.dyesubforum.co.uk/vbforum/sh ... ine-Review
And because the family is always the first people who try to support you, i wanted to sublimate a samsung galaxy 3 case.
But i encounter a little problem (big problem if i add my sadness)
It's like the color are not complety sublimate.
I print first with a ricoh 3110 DN with sawgrass ink, sublijet -r on a paper Texprint -R and sublimate with the oven (on the top) at 190 °C for 7mn.
You could see the result on a picture.
I did a mug yesterday, and it was not so good too. I'm asking myself if i print in the good side of the paper... Normally yes, i respect what they say when i put the paper in the printer.
Could you help me please to understand what are my mistakes ?
In attachments the 2 pictures.
Regards.
The newby frenchy..

try this:
-prehead oven till it beep (190°C) is fine.
-let it heating for another 5->8min
-now sublimate your products normaly ( about 5min).

Hello Ushi,
I will this evening, thanks for your reply.
How can i be sure the ICC profil is active ? I print from photoshop CS3 in high quality (settings) on the printer Ricoh Afficio 3110 Dn and i read in an older post (
http://www.dyesubforum.co.uk/vbforum/sh ... ge-quality) it's better to print and select PowerDriver Printer, not the Ricoh
I haven't the powerdriver printer.
With the technic to wet the finger and check the sticky side on the paper, i'm sure to print on the good side.
On photoshop i use CMJN colors, is it a good choice compare to RGB ?

Littleshark without the Powerdriver your colour profile will not be correct. You can download the Powerdriver from here:

Hello Roger,
Thanks for your answer.
Your link seems dead.
I downloaded already this one :
http://www.sawgrasseurope.com/technical ... c-profiles
And installed it. IS it something like "LANIER ?"

Hi Littleshark.....sorry about the link. Yes you have the correct page. Download the driver and when you select print chose the 'powerdriver' to print not the Ricoh or other printer. The Powerdriver will do the corrections for the printer from there and print for you.

Yes, exactly.
I've another problem, the case seems a little too big, i will check with a blank one if the oven dilate it or not.
Or maybe i let the case too long on the mold.
