Just wondering after reading another thread...

If you're printing from Photoshop, to PowerDriver, rather than the printer driver with Photoshop dealing with colour management, does this take away the ability to put Photoshop into Proof mode?
I use proof mode in Photoshop to show the colours as printable with the printer's ICC, and to show what is out of gammut, so I can tweak colours back into something which is printable. Is this something that can still be done with PowerDriver, or is Photoshop then blind to what is printed?

This would not work as PS uses the ICC loaded to work in proof mode.

As you say PS would be blind to this and in proof mode would just be using whatever ICC you have loaded (so is default pretty much)

There is the ICC sawgrass provide on there website, i'm not sure if this would achieve the desired results as i have never tried it.

OK, that's what I though, so if you're wanting/needing to use proof mode, it's best to stick to the standard Ricoh driver, and use ICCs.
