Hi There my name is Geoff and my partner is Paula we are just in the process of putting a business together and as yet haven't bought any equipment. I stumbled across this forum quite by chance and I'm really glad I did because already I've learnt that not all suppliers are what they appear to be.

We are wanting to do sublimation, pad and ribbon printing and realise that we are probably on quite a steep learning curve. We were looking at CPL to provide some of our equipment and also I've found Lovecut and Sublimagic, both of who are quite close to my location, however after reading some of your comments I'm not so sure now. Therefore any advice you guys could give us regarding equipment or suppliers would be very gratefully recieved.

I sincerely hope that in time our knowledge will improve and we will be able to return the favour with advice and guidance to future new starters thereby hopefully giving more value to a very worthwhile forum.

My location is, as you can see from my title bar, Batley. Do any of you Brits remember Batley Variety Club from the 60s and 70s (had some good nights out there)? From that you might probably guess we are not in the thros of youth more like hip 60s+

Hi Geoff! Welcome on forum. You did right thing looking for suppliers reputation and i must sya one thing some of them you mentioned has verry little or none at all!

Hi and welcome . If you have some suppliers local to you then you should be able to pop in and have a look to see them. Often useful to touch and feel the sublimation items rather than working off photos.
