Heads up to all those who use ebay to sell, private or business.

From 4th September ebay are charging Final value fees on the postage as well as the selling price.

i think they have finally realised just how many people bump up the postage charges to circumnavigate the fees, and ebay have decided to sort it out, i am considering shutting my shop down, i am only doing pins and patches on it, and the mark ups are small, and the shop fee every month is now costing any money i had made

Its not just fees thats changing you will also need to make sure your advert pics are clean images so no putting a pic of a mug up with the caption of your picture here, also to keep tour top rated seller staus you will have to offer next day postage as an option and you will have to dispatch same or next day. Good luck with that esp at xmas

I did read about that. Only just about to get into ebay but not looking so tempting right now

Especially on customised or personalised items. Sometimes the longest part of it is getting the customer to get the information/pics/design to you!
