Hi all I keep getting this green mark at the bottom off the mug from time to time(see pic below). Im not sure how its happening as it seems to fit into the mug press perfectly and transfer paper fitting snugly around the mug. Has anyone ever had this or advise on how to avoid it? it happening far to often for comfort. thanks in advance! [ATTACH=CONFIG]1880[/ATTACH]

It looks from the picture life the print isn't transferring properly onto the mug. Try pre- heating the base for 20 seconds before pressing.

Yep. I think this is as justb said, not even surface or something? Is this 11oz mug ?

You can put the lowest inch of the mug into your press for 20/30 secs, that's my preferred method. You can also get a small heated tray and sit mugs on there to preheat a little if you're doing a few. Some folk even put boiling water in the bottom of the mug. Your aim is just to give that lower section a head start by getting some heat into the thicker area.

this could be that heat don't go to that place at all as mug is uneven. Are they ebay mugs? I found them very uneven and hard to work with.

A trick I've seen for uneven mugs but never used personally is to dampen the transfer at that point so it sticks to the mug prior to pressing.

If it just happens now and then I would say it is the mug being mis-shapen at the base where the print is faulty. A bigger taper than normal. You would need extra pressure on your press to try and take up this flaw so that the element gets direct firm contact with that area which is currently not happening.

You could also try pressing upside down if your press will allow
