I have just been asked to quote to do 200 tshirts. The customer wants to supply his own and the design is a large front white vinyl image and text, it wil need a bit of weeding etc. so I will have to cut and press vinyl and that's it, I've worked out I can get 2 images if I buy the pre silouette cameo sized cut vinyl
so question is what is the best price I could do this for?
im guessing there will be return business,
the tshirts are for give always with a body builders supplemt drink.
Need to let him know today?

Would it not be better to screen print them?
I would imagine you could get the print for about 35-50p plus 1 screen of about £20-25, then all you do is add your mark up.

Simon I will text you the image now let me know what you think
I have a huge screen printers near me but there quote is about £4 each with t-shirt so not sure if they would do much cheaper than I can but maybe worth a call.

Does £4.00 include VAT?
There are a few garment printers on here that may be able to do it cheaper.

I've never followed up a order with them as when I give the price to my customer they say no, people just want things done for nothing nowadays, but yes it's vat on top.
They quote me £3.99 per tshirt and then when I've added my 50p or £1 it starts to get a little to dear especially as I made the mistake of starting off cheap a year ago to get customers now everyone wants them for nothing.

I know a decent screen printer in Cardiff if you want a contact so you can possibly pick-up to save cost.

For me it would depend on the amount of detail in the design as to how to price it cause obviously the more complex the design the more time it takes to weed.

Could have helped you out on the job Dave with weeding and pressing etc, but unfortunately Im off into hospital for that dreaded op... will be out of action for the next 3 months at least... but good luck. Ive seen the design if its the same as you did last time and should be fairly easy and not too time consuming to weed.

Hi Ian, good luck with op, (can i have your cutter

) only kidding.
no its a completely new company in England and its a full front design at the moment im having difficultiy tracing it to cut as its not a good image he has sent me, silhouette software does make it easy but sometimes even that can get confusing.
