Evening all
Anybody know where to purchase the cheapest genuine oki toners?
I have come to the point of needing to replace my oki c711 toners for the first time.:frown:
As far as I am led to believe, non genuine replacement toners are inferior to genuine toners, especially when it comes to printing garment transfer papers. If anyone has experience with oki printers and transfers, your thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Paul
Edit; Sorry for posting in wrong section

I just purchased from Toner Giant which were £124.10 plus VAT.
Normally I purchase from TMT but I knew I had missed their cut off point. TMT I think are £138.00 plus VAT each so not much difference in it when you consider they are 11,500 capacity (which is probably about 2000 in reality )

Cheers for reply. The cheapest I have seen is from the Printerland ebay shop, £135 incl vat and delivery.

Not in my 711 White but have purchased refill for others.
I used to have a HP where the genuine ones were about £40.00 each. There is a seller on ebay that sells a complete set for £38.00 (and you can pick and choose the colours). These lasted just as long and worked perfectly well with TMT paper. I originally took the risk because the printer was only £80.00 so if something went wrong it was not a lot of money that I had lost in a broken printer.
I have also just purchased a OKI301 as a cheap laser printer for office work and double side key rings etc (£90.00). I took the starter carts out as soon as I got the machine and put refills straight in the machine and it works a treat.
The only reason I am hesitant to change from genuine OKI on the white laser printer is because there is no black toner in these machines and subsequently the prints have to be spot on using CMY only. Not sure if the refills are up to that or not and do not want to risk it. Plus if something does go wrong then it could potentially be a £2000 mistake. Also, the toner carts from OKI on these machines are so big that the cost of a print is not that much considering everything else.
In general I would say refills are just as good as the originals and if it were me I would "risk" it on a standard CMYK laser printer. But bear in mind that if something does go wrong you are on your own. The refill guys will probably ignore any emails about problems and your supplier of the printer will quite rightly say if its not genuine then there is nothing they can do. This used to be the case with non Roland inks in Versacams. However I now purchase non Roland inks but from a company that guarantee the head and all ink related problems which means that if a £15,000 machine does go wrong I have the back up.

We tend to use refils for CMY and genuine on K tonors across our OKi's and have never seen any problems with printing or transfers. Like socialgiraffe we also use Oki C301dn's for general office and even some transfer work and its a great printer, unbeatable for the price. We've also got 3000, 5000 and 9000 series Oki's too - again no problems with non-genuine tonors.
