Fancied having a play with felt for pressing slate (I know silicon sheets works just fine and so does a mouse mat, but I like playing of an evening). Could not find a supplier in the UK. The American suppliers didn't want to supply to Europe because of their distribution agreements with Dupont. One company did say they would supply but they wanted to rip my arms and legs off for the pleasure! So I contacted Dupont UK, they dont' supply the felt to the UK market, hmmm. So contact the Germans, when I am stuck the answer always appears to be in Germany .... and yes sorted.

I really should keep my inquisitiveness under control!

Coffee finished, back to the press!

Felt is readily available in the UK, the first place that sprung to mind has roll or per metre in 16 colours....

You didnt specify heat resistant!!! Its 100% polyester though so will be the same as any polyester felt.

You are correct, I should be a politician, they don't give you all the information either.

think you'd make a squidgy mess putting that in your press - just get some Madeira to drink instead!
