Made her cry.

I had a lady ask me to make a plaque of her dog that had died the other week.
She gave me a photo and I put it on an 8 x 10 plaque.
I added a little siver name plate and a couple of brass hanging attachments.
It didnt take long at all.
She cried when i gave it her earlier.
I love that we can have that effect.
I charged her a tenner.
I dont mind, I did the sizing and work etc. My payment was her reaction.
I will never make money at this. I am too soft!
I did ask her if I can use the plaque as an ebay ad and she was happy with that.
Hopefully I might get an order or two from it.

Its always a lovely feeling knowing youve made someone happy through something like this. I knew a mate who specialised in memorial plaques (Slate Etching) and he always said that he never had a dry eye if the customer picked the product up personally.
