hi

I have family who live in devon and want to go visit them, whats the qucikest way of me getting there? ive been to southampton before and it was about 7 hours by coach, and thats far too long, is there anywhere close by i could get a plane to and then a train from there, i need to get to ilfracombe?

if anyone can give me some idea i would be very greatful.

ooops!... the buses are not too bad!... about a 5-6 hour journey and the planes will cost you an arm and a leg!... Leicester to Exeter is only 30 minutes but do you have a mortgage? Better off going by train mate. :)

flights and trains are both around 105 quid hopefully thats a return otherwise its cheaper to germany and back!

Sounds very cheap :-) We can often fly to New York from the mainland cheaper than the 1 hour flight from Shetland to Aberdeen :-(

i would think mega bus to london (or cheap off peak train) then coach again its not going to be a quick journey is there anyone that can pick you up part of the way??

went by train left at 7.20am got there at 3pm worth it though
